SPAL Fans
A mechanical fan will turn approximately the same RPMs as your engine. At 6,000 RPM that may be only 600 cfm. An electric fan at idle turns ten times that speed at around 2,400 cfm. Your mechanical fan will be turning all the time - even at highway speeds when you do not need it. A electric fan in sync with your thermostat gives you the cool you need and the quiet you want. Tight on space? Don't worry, we have SPAL pusher and puller fans as narrow as 2.05" and a full variety of circumference and depths to accommodate your particular space needs. Our custom-built shrouds in steel, polished brass or german silver or Nickle Silver will match your design and channel that cool air. |
