1933 Chevy Standard Street Rod Radiator
This is a tube and fin core conversion. It is intended to fit within the shell but the OE horizontal bracing would need to be modified or removed for thicker cores for modern engines.
The original Harrison v cell core was 2" deep and 142o degree ribbon cellular core comprised of narrow passages that can clog with rust, sediment or get coated over time with hard scale or oil from the engine. This radiator core thickness can be grown by reversing the horizontal cross brace and adjusting sidewall bracket placement neck etc. This still requires consideration of the fan distance so contact us for the deeper core.
Made in the USA
Here's a good tip from a customer:
The replacement fan for original Chevy 6 cylinder passenger cars is marketed for everything from 1931-1954. The original 15-3/4" fan is one of the few parts on the Chevy Standard that is shared with other Chevy models and years.
1937-38 passenger car water pumps puts the original fan too close to the radiator. Part # 838933 is readily available and also measures 15-3/4". Its can be adapted to earlier pump pulleys by enlarging the holes slightly. The fan sits 1/2 inch lower on the pulley than the original fan providing additional radiator clearance.
