C33 Standard Street Rod
1933 Chevy Standard Street Rod Radiator
This is a tube and fin core conversion. It is intended to fit within the shell and may be paired with a honeycomb fascia (order separately).
The original Harrison v cell core was 2" deep. This radiator core thickness can be grown by reversing the horizontal cross brace and adjusting sidewall bracket placement neck etc. This still requires consideration of the fan distance so contact us for the deeper core.
Here's a good tip from a customer:
The replacement fan for original Chevy 6 cylinder passenger cars is marketed for everything from 1931-1954. The original 15-3/4" fan is one of the few parts on the Chevy Standard that is shared with other Chevy models and years.
1937-38 passenger car water pumps puts the original fan too close to the radiator. Part # 838933 is readily available and also measures 15-3/4". Its can be adapted to earlier pump pulleys by enlarging the holes slightly. The fan sits 1/2 inch lower on the pulley than the original fan providing additional radiator clearance.
