Two solutions to a Dodge design problem! INDICATE YOUR PREFERENCE WHEN ORDERING.
We keep hearing that the OE aluminum and the aftermarket aluminum ones leak so this is made of brass and copper and you won't need to keep pulling the dash.
This heater core installation however still requires removing the dashboard, inserting the hose ends through the firewall and then contorting and pounding the heater core into the housing. The aluminum core with swivel hoses is the source of most leaks.
Update 11-24-22 We have increased teh fin desity on this heater core to 20FPI which is closer to the OE design
OPTION #1
We solder in place hose connections to prevent leaks. Its a solid construction but it is a challenge of the Dodge design to get it in.
OPTION #2
Hoses and clamps have stood the test of time so we have re-designed the OE heater core with removeable solid hose lengths for maximum adjustability. It come with short hose lengths, hose clamps and brass lines to make the install job a little easier.
Made in the USA and made to order, build queue varies.
