This cylindrical coolant recovery tank was designed with an homage to the Moon tanks of the fifties. It has a base plate mounted with hidden lines and can be placed in a variety of locations. It measures 8" in diameter but length can be sized to achieve your desired capacity. We can also install site glasses should you wish to view the coolant level.
Should the system pressure exceed the pressure cap’s rating, the spring will compress and fluid will flow through the upper tube to fill the chamber.
In the event the recovery tank reaches maximum capacity, the fluid will find the second tube and exit to the street. When things cool down, a vacuum will draw the coolant back into the cooling system.
